Le Reniement de St. Pierre (The Denial of St. Peter), is a miniature oratorio from the early Baroque period. Like many great works of its time period, very little documentation on Le Reniement de St. Pierre has survived to this day. This miniature oratorio follows Peter's relationship with Jesus from the moment when he swore his life to Jesus to the moment that he denied his fellowship with Christ. The majority of its text has been taken from Matthew 26:31 - 75 of the Latin Vulgate Bible. --James Huff 00:07, March 29, 2007 (EDT)
